84. Sits up

William sat in his carriage today, assisted by the side and front. We were at Virginia's pool and he was into it, flapping his arms, being excited about it. I don't think he could really comprehend us swimming in the pool, or the work men building houses near by or the big geese in the lake, or even the dark clouds in the sky. But he certainly liked playing with his foot, and sitting up.

The morning he woke up and was looking at me (when V brought him in--bless her for taking him over night and letting D get some sleep). He was looking at me downstairs later. And then when he was sitting up, he was looking at me. He seems to be looking more at things, faces, everything.

William's scratch near his eye was healing quick, but he put another one right by it in the morning and then put one on his forehead driving back from the pool.

We watched Winged Migration, a movie that documents flying birds, and he seems to pay attention to it. I say it's, "our favorite movie". But he wasn't into the big geese far off on the lake by the pool.

Virginia was working from home, but would sometimes come downstairs for a break, and once she took William up to her office and worked with him on her lap. Bring William to work day.

The other day Diana came home with a blanket hanging down off William like a cape. Super William.

He likes to be upside down sometimes. Can't figure that out yet. Wonder if he'll become a diver or a gymnast, or something that involves being upside down.
