William had a bad day in school on Thursday, he had difficulty going with the flow, he was crying easily. We can't figure it out.

The boys keep asking to see pictures when they were babies. It's pretty cool to look at the photos but it makes me sad--it's gone. They are still little boys, but not for long. I've always made fun of Diana for being in tune with this feeling, perhaps dismissive, "life is impermanent." But I'm feeling it now.

Diana and the boys are at her sister's, I have a day of study. Better get back to it.
