Hiking and camping

So we had a good weekend camping. We set up the tent in the dark Friday night. Poor Cori didn't sleep well the first night. Saturday she made pancakes for breakfast. We went for a hike up Cobble Mt., and the boys did really well. They're getting older, they don't stop after about 10 steps, and they enjoying hopping from rock to rock. Andres runs around a lot. They didn't want to stay at the top looking out for as long as we did.

Back at camp we had lunch and napped some. We played soccer and at one point I twisted my ankle, I heard a loud pop. Cori was out buying more firewood, so when she came back she was scared, she saw the look of worry in the boys eyes. The boys were scared when I was in pain. But I iced it and took some Advil.

It was sore in the morning, but we went to Kent Falls and I hiked a bit there. Since it was raining we took down the tent, and headed home. I got a ankle brace after I dropped the boys off at Diana's. Cliff says just elevate, take an ani-inflamitory, use a brace and try to keep off it, which I'll do. I don't have insurance for another two months, hopefully it will just get better. Poor Andres blamed himself, but I keep telling him it's nobody's fault, it was just an accident.

We were all really tired, so it must have been a good trip. I went to bed at 7, woke up at 6.
